The 13 km mountainous, circular route between Peiting and Schongau presents one highlight after another. At Schlossberg Castle and Villa Rustica, hikers can retrace the steps of Romans and Welfs. The forest adventure trail features a number of exciting stations where both young and old can get involved – a continuous stream of magnificent views of the Alpine chain and the turquoise Lech reveal themselves in between. Five large experience stations along the hiking trail provide a wealth of information on Romans and Welfs as well as on local history; specially designed for adults and children.
